.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Saturday...
Saturday will be similar to Friday. There will be isolated showers
and storms over the higher terrain. Minimum relative humidity will
drop to around 15 percent across the plains and mountain valleys.
With light winds, no critical fire weather conditions are
expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday night through Wednesday...
Sunday and Monday will be exceptionally hot across northeast
Colorado. Minimum relative humidity will drop to around 11-17
percent across the plains. Winds will again be very light so no
critical fire weather conditions are expected. Moisture will
increase over the higher terrain on Monday with scattered storms
with potentially heavy rainfall expected to last through the work
week. Across the plains, the storms will begin on Tuesday and will
last through Friday with scattered coverage and locally heavy
rain.
