.DISCUSSION...Tonight and through Saturday...
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue for
the mountains through Tuesday, with locally wetting rain.
The region will transition to a warmer and drier pattern Wednesday
through Friday, with highs climbing to around 10 degrees above average
for the date. Wind and humidity levels will remain quite moderated
through Thursday, with slightly breezier and drier conditions likely
for Friday in advance of an approaching system. Humidity values may
lower to near or below 15% for portions of the southern plains Friday,
resulting in areas of elevated fire weather conditions. There are
increasing signs of a return to a wetter pattern for Saturday, with
elevated potential for wetting rain, most notable in the high country.
Smoke dispersal conditions will be generally favorable most of the week,
with a few hours of Good to Excellent dispersal anticipated each afternoon
for most areas. The best ventilation rates will generally be over the
higher terrain.
