.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Wednesday...Rain and snow showers will
continue across most of the area tonight into tomorrow as a storm
system slowly drifts to the east. A few thunderstorms are also
possible, mainly tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures on Wednesday
will be warmer than today. Smoke dispersal will remain poor over
most of the Foothills and I-25 corridor, with fair to good
dispersal elsewhere.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday night through Sunday...A warmer
and drier pattern is expected to develop by Thursday and continue
into the weekend. Temperatures should warm from near normal values
on Thursday to above normal temperatures by this weekend. Isolated
to scattered showers and a couple thunderstorms will be possible
across the high country each afternoon, with the best chance of
rain coming Friday. A gradual improvement in smoke dispersal is
expected through the next several days, and should be good to
excellent by Sunday.
