...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM MDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
  counties, central Morgan and central Weld.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
  flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 1015 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flooding is
    already occurring along Highway 144 near Orchard and other
    secondary roads may be impacted as well. Between 2.5 and 4
    inches of rain fell earlier.

    - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Beaver Creek, Kiowa Creek, Wildcat Creek, Bijou Creek,
    Sanborn Draw and Badger Creek.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Morgan, Log Lane Village, Hillrose, Weldona, Goodrich,
    Jackson Reservoir, Orchard, Snyder, Riverside Reservoir, Fort
    Morgan Airport and Masters.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
