...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
  counties, northwestern Morgan and central Weld.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. Overflowing poor
  drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 444 PM MDT, Broadcast Media reported. Between 0.5 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wiggins, Orchard, Jackson Reservoir, Goodrich, Riverside
    Reservoir, Weldona and Masters.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.
