The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeast Boulder County in northeastern Colorado...
  Southwestern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 945 PM MDT.

* At 641 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.8 and 1.5 inches of
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches,
           roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Lafayette and Erie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause flash flooding of small
creeks and streams, highways, streets, underpasses, drainage areas
and other low lying spots.
