...HOT, DRY AND UNSTABLE WITH THUNDERSTORM OUTFLOWS ON SATURDAY...

...WARM AND SLIGHTLY MOISTER WITH INCREASED CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Very hot, dry and unstable conditions on Saturday, with mixing
heights in excess of 13000 ft which may lead to enhanced
convective plume development. Winds generally light in the absence
of thunderstorms, and are likely to be diurnally dominated with
local upslope flows after 0900 MDT and downslope after 2000. While
there is a slight chance of thunderstorms forming to the west and
south Saturday afternoon and evening, they are expected to remain
well away from the fire. However, associated outflows could lead
to erratic winds and gusts up to 40 mph reaching the fire from the
late afternoon, most likely from a southerly or westerly
direction. Thunderstorms may continue through the overnight period
and increase again with showers during Sunday morning. Poor RH
recoveries overnight. Smoke may concentrate in local valleys
overnight beneath an inversion.
