.DISCUSSION...
Building high pressure aloft today into Saturday will continue the
warming above the cold valleys, resulting in an inversion with poor
mixing and ventilation. Mixing heights, at best, are forecast to reach
about 900 feet AGL today. Winds will also be very light today, and no
rain is expected until Saturday night at the earliest. Could see up to
0.05" of rain total. Still on track for a stronger trough Monday that
is expected to bring wetting rains. There is a 70% chance of 0.50" or
greater of rain at the burn site. A few inches of snow may also be
possible Tuesday morning.
