.DISCUSSION...
A few showers and weak thunderstorms are moving through the Magic
Valley this morning. This will continue through the early
evening, with outflow winds up to 40 mph possible near these
showers/thunderstorms. Otherwise, hot and dry conditions are
anticipated today with temperatures a couple of degrees lower than
yesterday. Breezy northwesterly winds will kick up this
afternoon, especially in the Baker Valley and Snake River Valley
with gusts up to 30 mph from 1600-1900 MDT. A significant pattern
shift is anticipated this weekend, with scattered virga showers
and thunderstorms thanks to a monsoonal push.
