.DISCUSSION...
Once again, isolated thunderstorms expected to develop over the
higher terrain of Harney and Baker Counties this afternoon. Gusty
outflows to 40 mph with little rain is expected. Otherwise, dry
and hazy conditions with hot temperatures will continue
through Tuesday, with minimum RH remaining around 15-20%.
Temperatures will peak to the upper 90s in the valley on Labor Day.
High-based moisture will shift east along the Idaho-Nevada border
Monday with more robust moisture for thunderstorms with a low
passage expected Tuesday into Wednesday as the ridge breaks down.
