* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...
Showers and thunderstorms will continue through this evening.
These will be a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms with the
stronger storms capable of heavy downpours, creating a flash
flood risk for steep and rocky terrain and severely burned areas
with stronger storm cores. Storms will also be capable of
outflow winds to 40-50 mph in the afternoon. Warmer and drier
conditions returning Sunday and Monday. However, a slight chance
of thunderstorms will remain for zone 426 both Sunday and
Monday afternoons.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...
Periods of showers and thunderstorms through this evening. Storm
activity will be capable of heavy downpours, creating a flash
flood risk for steep and rocky terrain and severely burned areas
with stronger storm cores. Storms will also be capable of
outflow winds to 30-40 mph in the afternoon. Warmer conditions
returning Sunday and Monday. However, a chance of thunderstorms
will remain for east portions of all zones both Sunday and
Monday afternoons.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)... Periods of showers and
thunderstorms through this evening mainly across Vale and Baker
Valley Zones. A mix of wet and dry thunderstorms will be capable
of heavy downpours, creating a flash flood risk for steep and
rocky terrain and severely burned areas with stronger storm
cores. Storms will also be capable of outflow winds to 40-50 mph
in the afternoon. Warmer and drier conditions returning Sunday
and Monday. However, a chance of thunderstorms will return for
zone 675, and northern portion of zone 674 and 673, Monday
afternoon.
