On Friday, a system moving by to the north will continue breezy
conditions and bring a slight chance of showers to the northern
forests. Winds will decrease during the day on Saturday as high
pressure briefly moves overhead. However, a cold front Sunday
will bring gusty winds and the next chance of precipitation.
Wetting rain/snow is likely in the mountains of northeast Oregon
and central Idaho with lower chances elsewhere. Several inches of
snow are expected above 7000 feet, with light accumulations down
to 5000 feet possible. Dry conditions return next week.
