* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...Mostly
sunny skies, warm temperatures, and dry conditions will return
today. Winds will generally be light and terrain driven, with
ridgetops and the Lower Snake Plain seeing breezy southeast
winds later today. Dry conditions will keep overnight relative
humidity recoveries fair to moderate in higher terrain. A low
pressure system will bring scattered rain showers and isolated
afternoon thunderstorms with overall minimal rainfall
accumulations Thursday through early Saturday. A few storms
Thursday could produce heavy rain and small hail.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...Warmer
but with increased cloud cover Wednesday. A low pressure system
will bring scattered rain showers and isolated afternoon
thunderstorms Thursday through early Saturday. Rainfall
accumulations will range between 0.25-0.75 inches, with the
highest accumulation in ID402/403. A few storms Thursday could
produce heavy rain and small hail.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)...Warmer but with increased
cloud cover Wednesday. Slight chance for thunderstorms
Wednesday afternoon across Burns BLM. A low pressure system will
bring scattered rain showers and isolated afternoon
thunderstorms Thursday through Friday. Rainfall accumulations
will generally be less than 0.10 inches, with the highest
