Hot, dry and hazy conditions persisting through Friday. Isolated
afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected over southeast
Oregon, parts of the West Central Mountains, and near the Nevada
border today. Storms will have little rainfall with gusty outflows
up to 45 mph. Monsoon moisture then moves over the region from
Friday, with an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms
expanding across the entire forecast area through the late week
into Saturday. A significant cooling and moistening trend will
continue from Sunday into the midweek due to increased shower
activity.
