* Southwest Idaho BLM (ID Zones 400, 420, 423, 424, 426)...
Thunderstorm threat shifting out of the Southern Highlands (426)
to the southeast this afternoon. Moisture and instability will
increase again from the south Monday morning, with scattered
thunderstorms developing from noon MDT until sunset in the
Southern Highlands and Owyhee Mountains zones, i.e, south of
the Snake River. 2-4 degrees warming Monday and again Tuesday,
peaking Wednesday, then gradually cooler the rest of the week.
Slight chance (10%) of thunderstorms in the Southern Highlands
Tuesday afternoon, and 10-20% chance in the southern Highlands
Friday through Sunday afternoons. No thunderstorms expected
elsewhere the rest of the week.
* Southwest Idaho Forest (ID Zones 401, 402, 403, 421)...
5-8 degrees warmer Monday, with high clouds spreading in from
the south, but no thunderstorms expected. Further slight
warming Tuesday and Wednesday, then gradually cooler the rest
of the week. Slight chance (15-20%) of thunderstorms Wednesday
afternoon in the eastern Payette NF and northern Boise NF,
otherwise no thunderstorms expected the rest of the week.
* Southeast Oregon (OR Zones 670-675)...
Dry tonight. Upper flow will increase from the southwest tonight
and Monday morning, with scattered thunderstorms developing
Monday afternoon in the Burns BLM, Steens Mountain, and southern
Grasslands. Greatest coverage (35-45%) expected on Steens
Mountain and the southern half of Burns BLM between 3 PM and
6 PM PDT. 3 to 6 degrees warmer Monday, and another 1-3 degrees
Tuesday, holding level Wednesday, then gradually cooler the rest
of the week. No thunderstorms expected after Monday evening through
the rest of the week.
