.DISCUSSION...
Moist southwest flow coupled with afternoon heating and instability will
fuel another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The focus of
development will be across higher terrain near the Nevada border where
scattered coverage is expected. Thunderstorms will produce gusty outflow
winds to 50 mph as they track from south to north. This pattern will
remain locked in place, keeping a chance of afternoon and evening
thunderstorms in the forecast through next week.
