...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WALKER AND SOUTHEASTERN FAYETTE
COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...
At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Nauvoo to 6 miles northwest of Oakman to
near Berry. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Carbon Hill, Berry, Parrish, Oakman,
Sipsey, West Jefferson, Curry, Gorgas Steam Plant, Bankston, Smith
Dam, Gorgas, Boley Springs, Rocky Hollow, Burnwell, Beloit, and
Quinton.
