...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BIBB COUNTY THROUGH
500 PM CDT...

At 432 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ashby, or 10 miles southwest of Montevallo. This thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Brierfield Ironworks Park, Ashby, Randolph, and Six Mile.

This includes US Highway 82 between mile markers 94 and 95.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
