...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN AUTAUGA...ELMORE
AND NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 342 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Jordan Lake, or 8 miles north of Millbrook, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka, Elmore,
Coosada, Deatsville, Eclectic, Montgomery Zoo, Boylston, Santuck, Bob
Woodruff Lake, Autauga County Airport, Titus, Emerald Mountain, Ten
Cedar Estates, Dexter, Lagoon Park, Weoka Mills, and Jordan Lake.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 174 and 194.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
