However, levels are expected to remain below established flood stages, and any overflow along the river should be of minor nature. The Cahaba River at Marion Junction. * At 7:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.7 feet. * Action stage is 15 feet. * Flood stage is 36 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.8 feet just after midnight tonight. * Impact...At 15 feet...Flooding around Oakmulgee Creek begins and cattle need to be moved to higher ground. Overflow of pasture lands increases at stages above 20 feet. This is the last statement for Cahaba River at Marion Junction for this event.
