Numerous trees blown down in and around the
city of Pinson. Most intense damage was in a
roughly 1 mile long and 1000 yard wide swath
on the eastern side of the city. There was
also some structural damage due to trees
that fell on residences and other buildings.
Winds were estimated 70-75 mph.

A damage assessment conducted by NWS
meteorologists confirms an EF-0 tornado in
Trussville, AL. The tornado began along the
intersection of Highway 11 and Mary Taylor
road, travelled southeast, and ended along
Queenstown Road. Path length 1.63 miles. Max
width 65 yards. Max wind 85 mph.
