Dry conditions are expected across the Talladega National Forest today, with dewpoints dropping into the teens and perhaps single digits during the afternoon. MinRH values will drop between 20 and 25 percent as a result, but 20ft winds will be much lighter than previous days. However, dispersions are expected to be on the lower side as surface high pressure begins to build overhead through the afternoon and evening hours. Northeasterly 20 foot winds will range from 5 to 8 mph this afternoon. The dry airmass will remain in place for Saturday and Sunday with very light westerly 20 foot winds. .TODAY...
