...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Black Warrior River At Selden Lock and Dam affecting Marengo,
  Greene and Hale Counties.

.Runoff from releases upstream have resulted in minor flooding over
the Black Warrior River basin and a flood warning is now in effect
for the Black Warrior River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CST Saturday the stage was 90.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM CST Saturday was 90.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this afternoon and continue falling to 83.4 feet Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 90.0 feet.
