...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Tombigbee River At Bevill Lock and Dam affecting Pickens, Greene
  and Sumter Counties.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Alabama...

  Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam affecting Marengo, Hale,
   Greene and Sumter Counties.

.Levels continue to fall on the Tombigbee River. It has fallen below
flood stage at Demopolis and will fall below flood stage at Bevill
by Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning, or sooner if
conditions warrant.

  the Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:15 PM CST Monday the stage was 67.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 67.9
    feet just after midnight tonight.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Tombigbee River at Bevill Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 122.0 feet, Cattle in low-lying areas of Southern
  Pickens County should be moved to higher ground. Cattle are cutoff
  in lowlands of Southern Pickens County at stages above 122 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 122.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:00 PM CST Monday was 125.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this evening and continue falling to 112.4 feet Saturday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 122.0 feet.
