.Another round of heavy rain will cause areas of high water across
parts of central Alabama through the afternoon.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
  counties, Clay, Shelby and Talladega.

* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over
  roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 222 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Talladega, Sylacauga, Childersburg, Wilsonville, Vincent,
    Harpersville, Oak Grove, Bon Air, Sycamore, Winterboro,
    Alpine, Mignon, Sylacauga Municipal Airport, Varnons and
    Gaston Steam Plant.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
