The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East Central Wells County in south central North Dakota...
  Northwestern Foster County in southeastern North Dakota...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1029 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 8 miles north of Cathay, or 20 miles northwest
  of Carrington, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
           to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
           likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of East Central Wells and Northwestern Foster
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
