...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DUNN AND
NORTHEASTERN MCKENZIE COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1126 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Watford City, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Watford City, Mandaree, Keene, and Johnsons Corner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
southwestern and northwestern North Dakota.
