...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LAMOURE AND
NORTHEASTERN DICKEY COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM CDT...

At 1057 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Oakes, or 20 miles northeast of Ellendale, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oakes, Verona, and Glover.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
