An active pattern returns this week with showers and
thunderstorms through the day today in parts of the region.
Eastern North Dakota and portions of northwestern Minnesota may
potentially see isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and into the evening. Highs this afternoon are generally
in the 80s, with portions of northern North Dakota only reaching
the upper 70s and portions of southwestern South Dakota peaking
into the lower 90s. The potential for Cooler temperatures and more
widespread showers and thunderstorms increases by midweek.
