Today will be the last day with well above normal temperatures.
Highs this afternoon are forecast to range from the upper 50s
along the Canadian border to the lower 70s in northwest South
Dakota. A cold front moving down from Canada later this afternoon
through tonight could bring some light rain across much of the
region.

Temperatures will return closer to normal this weekend, with
highs ranging from the mid 30s in southern Manitoba to the lower
and mid 50s in southeast Montana and western South Dakota. The
upcoming work week looks to be slightly cooler, with daily highs
in the lower 30s to lower 40s. Low to medium chances for light
mixed precipitation return to the forecast Monday through
Wednesday.
