For the rest of today, expect a few showers over southeast North
Dakota, eastern South Dakota, and southern Minnesota. Highs will
mainly be in the 70s across the region.

A cold front will bring higher chances for showers and
thunderstorms along with windy conditions across the region over
the weekend. A few storms may be strong to severe in central and
eastern North Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and northwest
Minnesota Saturday afternoon and evening. Sunday will be cooler
and windier than Saturday, with highs only in the 60s and chances
for showers mainly confined to northern and eastern parts of the
region. Smoke aloft could also lead to on and off hazy skies
through the weekend.
