Dense fog will impact much of the state this morning. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms steadily increase through the holiday
weekend. A few strong to severe thunderstorms could develop
Saturday through Sunday. Well above normal temperatures are
expected today and Saturday, followed by a gradual cooling trend
through the middle of next week.

.TODAY...Decreasing clouds. Areas of dense fog in the morning.
Windy west. Highs from the mid and upper 70s northeast to mid 90s
far southwest.
.TONIGHT...Partly to mostly clear. Chance of showers and
thunderstorms central and east. Lows in the mid 50s to mid 60s.
.SATURDAY...Partly to mostly sunny. Chance of showers and
thunderstorms east. Highs from the lower 80s far northeast to mid
90s southwest and south central.
.SUNDAY...Increasing clouds. Chance of showers and thunderstorms
during the day, becoming likely in the evening through the night.
Lows in the upper 50s to upper 60s. Highs in the upper 70s to
upper 80s.
