Today will be much cooler in eastern parts of the region compared
to the west, with highs ranging from the 30s in the eastern
Dakotas and western Minnesota to around 60 to 65 in eastern
Montana. The warmer temperatures out west will slowly spread
eastward through Wednesday and be accompanied by low to medium
chances for rain showers both Tuesday and Wednesday.

After a brief stall in the warming trend on Thursday, well above
average high temperatures in the 60s and 70s are in the forecast
for Friday and Saturday. Dry weather is expected Thursday through
Saturday. It will also be windy across the western half of the
region on Wednesday, and the southern half of the region on
Thursday.
