Smoke will continue to reduce visibility across the eastern half
of the region this afternoon, with a slow improvement expected
through tonight. There are very little to no chances for rain
throughout the region this weekend. Highs this afternoon are
expected to range from the upper 70s in the northern Red River
Valley to the lower 90s in eastern Montana. Sunday will be
slightly warmer, with highs in the lower 80s to mid 90s.

Monday will remain very warm for southern parts of the region,
while northern areas begin to cool off. Well below normal
temperatures are then expected for the middle of next week, with
daytime highs mostly in the lower 60s to mid 70s. Chances for
showers and a few thunderstorms also begin returning to the
forecast on Monday, and are highest Monday night through Tuesday
night.
