623 FNUS73 KBIS 061226 FWSBIS Spot Forecast for Eddy WPA...USFWS National Weather Service Bismarck ND 726 AM CDT Fri Jun 6 2025 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1200 CDT on June 06. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... It should be a relatively quiet weather day at the burn site today. By the ignition time, it should be mostly sunny, but some smoke aloft from distant wildfires may keep the sky a bit hazy. The high should rise to around 70 degrees with afternoon humidity dropping to around 46 percent. Winds will be relatively light out of the south, generally 7 to 9 mph, maybe increasing just a little bit tonight as humidity recovers to around 89 percent. Winds will be stronger tomorrow as a cold front approaches, shifting winds from out of the southwest to out of the west. Sustained values up to 20 mph and gusts to 27 mph will be possible through the day. Some showers and thunderstorms are likely to accompany this cold front as it moves through in the afternoon with a stronger storm or two possible in the general area. Hail to the size of ping pong balls and gusty/erratic winds up to 60 mph would be the main hazards if one of the strongest storms can move overhead. The chance for wetting rain on Saturday will increase to around 77 percent in the afternoon. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny. CWR.................0 percent.
