.DISCUSSION...

A partly cloudy sky is expected to be found over the prescribed
burn area at the time of ignition, becoming mostly cloudy through
the afternoon. High temperatures Sunday afternoon are forecast in
the upper 60s around the burn site, with minimum relative humidity
to drop down to as low 49 percent. Cloud cover will continue to
increase overnight into Monday, accompanied by chances for rain as
a low pressure system cuts across South Dakota. Light southeast
winds will turn easterly through the day Sunday, before becoming
gusty out of the north overnight into Monday morning.

Chances for rain will diminish Monday morning as skies clear from
west to east. Overall rain totals around the burn site are
expected to be less than 0.1", with a chance of wetting rain
around 25%, mainly before midnight Monday morning. High
temperatures on Monday are forecast to be in the lower 50s, while
minimum relative humidities drop to as low as 40 percent.
Northerly winds will become gusty Monday as a low level jet sets
up over northwest and north central North Dakota, with sustained
speeds broadly from 13 to 23 MPH and gusts up to around 31 MPH,
before diminishing through the evening.
