.DISCUSSION...
South-southeast winds are forecast to increase to around 20 to 25
mph this afternoon, with gusts as high as 35 mph. High
temperatures are forecast to remain around 60 to 70 degrees today,
with minimum humidity around 50 to 70 percent. Humidity remains
high on Wednesday with medium to high chances for showers and a
few thunderstorms moving across the state from southwest to
northeast. Winds will remain south-southeast around 20 to 25 mph
in central and eastern North Dakota, but should become much weaker
and variable in the west Wednesday afternoon. Thursday is
expected to be warmer and dry with light and variable winds.
Forecast minimum humidity on Thursday ranges from near 25 percent
in the far southwest to greater than 70 percent in the James
River Valley. Breezy southeast winds return on Friday, as do
medium chances for rain and higher humidity values. On Saturday,
breezy winds are forecast to turn more westerly with lower minimum
humidity, but still no lower than around 30 percent in the far
southwest.
