.DISCUSSION...
A few showers are possible late tonight and Friday, though
widespread wetting rains are unlikely. Otherwise, mostly dry
conditions are expected through Saturday before more widespread
scattered shower and thunderstorm chances return late Saturday
night through Sunday night, possibly lingering into Monday. For
the most part, sustained winds are expected to remain below 20 mph
through Saturday. However, Sunday is expected to be breezy across
most of western through central North Dakota. This could lead to
near critical fire weather conditions in far western North Dakota
in the afternoon. Though that would be conditional on how much
(if any) rain was received prior and if there is any lingering
cloud cover.
