.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through western and
parts of central North Dakota this afternoon into this evening.
Greater chances for showers and thunderstorms are on tap for
Thursday, along with cooler conditions.
Hot and dry conditions return for this weekend. Saturday will
see humidity values dip into the teens for southwest and parts of
northwest North Dakota with southerly winds around 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday will see minimum humidity values in the teens for much of
western North Dakota. Winds start out southerly around 15 to 25
mph, but then a cold front will shift into western North Dakota
with winds shifting northwest. This will lead to near critical to
critical fire weather conditions.
