...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7
PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between
  3 and 7 inches, mainly in higher terrain areas. Winds gusting as
  high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, Southern Cayuga, and Tompkins
  Counties. Mainly at higher elevations.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds
  will cause blowing snow at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mixed rain and wet snow in early afternoon,
  will become narrow bands of accumulating lake effect snow late
  afternoon through Monday.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
