.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions are expected across the area today. Winds will
increase out of the southwest later this morning and remain gusty
through this afternoon and into this evening. Minimum RH values
this afternoon will likely fall into the upper 20 percent range,
however, this will dependent on the increasing clouds expected
late in the day. At this time, clouds are expected to increase
this evening, but if clouds arrive a little earlier, then high
temperatures will be slightly lower and minimum RH values will
stay above 30 percent.

Due to the gusty winds and low RH values expected for this
afternoon, a special weather statement has been issued for an
enhanced risk for wildfire spread. Fire weather conditions will be
on the cusp of Red Flag criteria, however, at this time, only
fine fuels remain receptive for ignition. 10 hour fuels are still
fairly moist, with most observations across the area still above
15% fuel moisture.
