The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Winona County in southeastern Minnesota...
  Olmsted County in southeastern Minnesota...
  Wabasha County in southeastern Minnesota...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 253 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Elgin, or 8
  miles northeast of Rochester, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Plainview and Elgin around 300 PM CDT.
  Buffalo City around 320 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include South
Troy, Pioneer Campground, County Roads 9 And 10, Potsdam, County
Roads 28 And 31, Hidden Meadows R V Park, and Rock Dell.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 205 and
250.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for southeastern
Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.
