...SLICK TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL THIS EVENING...WET ROADS DEVELOPING
ICY SPOTS...

While most of the minor snow accumulations remained confined to
cold, grassy surfaces - the snowfall has made area roads wet. With
temperatures below freezing, and road temps near freezing, icy
spots are developing on untreated roadways - especially bridges
and overpasses. Accidents are being reported across southeast
Minnesota on account of the slick travel.

Evening motorists - roads will look wet, but could be icy. Treat
them as if they are. Take it slow and use an abundance of caution.
Exercise your winter driving skills.

Also, sidewalks and other exposed surfaces could develop icy
spots. Pedestrian traffic should be prepared for slippery travel
as well.

The snow will decrease in intensity and areal coverage moving into
mid evening.
