Currently, the higher risk lies east of the Mississippi River. Very large hail and tornadoes will be the primary threats. Damaging winds will also be possible. Hail size may exceed 2 inches in diameter and a stronger tornado cannot be ruled out. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters may be needed east of the Mississippi River between 2 PM and 7 PM Thursday.
