.DISCUSSION...
Very warm temperatures and dry conditions are expected to prevail
across the region through Saturday. Temperatures Friday and
Saturday will climb into the mid and upper 80s, allowing for RHs
to fall to between 30-40 percent by the afternoon. Winds will
stay at less than 15 mph, generally out of the south, through
Friday. As a surface low approaches the area on Saturday,
southerly winds are expected to increase to between 15-25 mph,
mainly west of the Mississippi. The strongest winds and lowest RHs
are not currently expected to be co-located but this will need to
be monitored going forward. Rain chances return to the forecast by
Sunday and continue through mid-next week with cooler temperatures
in the 60s returning by Tuesday.
