...The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Upper Iowa River at Decorah affecting Winneshiek County.

.The latest river forecast has increased the forecast crest from
10.5 to 12 feet which is now Minor flood stage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Upper Iowa River at Decorah.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Residential areas are threatened on the
  west edge of Decorah just before the levee protecting the town
  begins. Some agricultural flooding may also occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0
    feet this evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.9 feet on 06/10/2018.
