...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Wisconsin, including the
  following county, Jackson.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
  earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
  may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 340 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing.
    Between 1 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but only light additional
    rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Black River Falls, York, Northfield, Alma Center, Levis,
    Taylor, Hixton, North Branch, Hixton Alma Center K O A,
    Disco, Perry Creek Recreation Area, Castle Mound, Vaudreuil,
    The Majestic Pines Casino and Requa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
