Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Charles City affecting Floyd County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Charles City.

* WHEN...From this morning to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, the intersection of Riverside and North
  Illinois Streets may be flooded. Cable pedestrian bridge is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this morning to a crest of 12.9 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
