  Cedar River at Austin affecting Mower County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Cedar River near Lansing affecting Mower County.

.Rainfall amounts Saturday night into Sunday morning were in the 3
to 5 inch range, with amounts in the City of Austin around 1 to 2
inches. This precipitation is expected to route into area waterways
and bring the Cedar River above flood stage. These forecasts include
an additional 0.5 to 0.75 inches of precipitation expected Sunday
night into Monday morning. If additional precipitation amounts
exceed these amounts, the river may rise above the current forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Austin.

* WHEN...From this evening to Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Numerous homes and businesses may be
  threatened by high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 6.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 17.7 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  Road 2 Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.7
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
