...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

Numerous snow showers area expected across the area through tonight
with total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.  Combined with gusty
winds, there may be brief periods with very low visibility.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Numerous snow showers, especially this afternoon and
  tonight.  Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, mainly in
  areas closer to the immediate Lake Huron coast, with lower snow
  amounts inland. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph creating areas of
  low visibility.

* WHERE...Alpena and Presque Isle Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slushy and slippery road conditions within
  heavier snow showers, especially in areas closer to the Lake Huron
  coast. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning
  commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.

  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

reductions in visibility within snow showers.
